This Fall visitors to St. John will find themselves blinking once or twice at the following changes:

  • Calabash Boom road and Johnny Horn Trail have both been improved thanks to grants obtained by the CBCC
  • Island Blues was purchased by the owners of Woody's and fixed up a bit, but the shutters are still closed... stay tuned!
  • Cases by the Sea (across from Island Blues) is under new management
  • Sweet Plaintains restaurant now boasts Skipper's Brit Pub, with weekly music & Trivia events
  • Voyages new owner, Paul Sabers, reopens with an upgraded the outdoor patio bar, air-conditioned seating inside, and ample parking in the back.
  • Aqua Bistro's continues live music at Friday happy hour and Sunday afternoon.
  • Concordia and Concordia Cafe are under new management
  • Tourist Trap owner retired, restaurant closed.
  • Pickles in Paradise Deli has expanded its outdoor seating area in the back, check it out!

And the best news of all... the so-called "Coral Bay Marina" proposed by Summer's End has been squashed. ROCK ON, SAVE CORAL BAY, well played!
