Great family vacation! Enjoyed the beautiful beaches, snorkelling and Tequila Sunrise villa. The beaches that we loved: Francis Bay and Little Lameshur Bay. What we loved the most was coming back to Tequila Sunrise to see the sunset with a bottle of wine. Cooked in every night; with the view that we had at Tequila Sunrise we didn’t want to leave. It only took us a year and a half, but we’re finally here, celebrating our honeymoon, and what a fantastic one, at that! Thank you for helping us celebrate our 25th anniversary by sharing your house with us. We had a great week relaxing and exploring St John. The house had everything we could have needed. Loved the views! We had a little excitement one morning with a scorpion in the kitchen =) we saw squid at Jumbie Bay, a stingray at Little Lameshur Bay and a turtle at Waterlemon Cay, plus all the colorful fish wherever we went. The only thing we would change is the sunshine for all the rain we had.

Left the cold grey dreariness of the Midwestern spring and came to paradise! Love Tequila Sunrise! The driveway was a bit of a challenge, but well worth it! House is beautiful, comfortable and awesome! The sunrises are amazing, even the choir of roosters on the hill were a treat. The view is spectacular, and the weather was perfect. Every day sunny and in the 80’s. A great vacation was had by all. One 3 hour blackout at early evening taught the kids patience and life pre-internet. All in all worth every penny to get here, relax and chase the winter blues away! Thanks!

Tequila Sunrise - a great place for a lot of reasons. Coral Bay is a fun place on St. John, more laid back than Cruz Bay. Snorkeling, good anywhere. Chartered the yellow and blue houseboat Angels' Rest. Stable, attractive, run by owners, easiest snorkelling entry and exit ever, great for beginners and pros alike, especially good for those apprehensive about tippy sailboats. Snorkeling the mangroves was quite interesting. A good trip! St. John - greatest island anywhere!

Every trip to St John is perfect in its own right; however, this trip to Tequila Sunrise in Coral bay set the bar a little higher. The privacy of the house sets it apart from other houses I have stayed in. Being well equipped with all the creature comforts made the stay too easy! With beautiful views and a constant breeze, Tequila Sunrise is perfect for living and loving the St. John way! Thank you! The full moon was the most wonderful experience and I only hope to repeat it.

The 5 of us had a great time. We loved the house, loved the location. The house is very well equipped; it was a surprise for us that everything worked - even the grill! We even loved the mosquitos -- bring bug spray =). The highlights: road- nice, beaches- beautiful, location- market and beach are very close, house- great. Thank you for such a magical vacation.

Merry Christmas! What a treat to spend our holiday on the island with our kids! As always we love staying here at Tequila Sunrise. The weather was cooler than usual for us and we had big wind and swells out of the NE. We enjoyed a day of sailing and snorkelling with Rick and Robin Gallup on Long Distance, swimming and playing in the surf at Cinnamon Bay and our best snorkel and beach day at Hansen Bay. Our last day here we were joined by Pete’s brother and family who are spending the holidays on St Thomas; (I think we converted them!). Now we have to head back to snowy MI = (.

Wonderful visit-great place! Had our share of rain but had some nice sunshine too. The North Shore Beaches are all beautiful. Snorkeling is great everywhere-Leinster Bay is super. Charter a boat for more great snorkeling. Love the view off the deck. Beautiful home. Hopefully we'll be back. Thanks!

Beautiful home, well laid out, VERY well equipped! Spent the first week in torrential rain-sat on the porch with Jimmy Buffet playing, drinking wine and rum, watching the storms move in across the bay. Just when we thought we had experienced enough of St. John's rain, the sun broke through. The rest of our stay was filled with hiking and snorkeling. Favourites: Ram's Head hike. Waterlemon Cay-BEST snorkeling! Rum punch at Trunk Bay. Pumpkin soup at Sweet Plantains. Drive to East End on a sunny day. Bring bug spray everywhere, especially in PM at beaches In general: go slow, drink right, drive left. Thanks for EVERYTHING!!!

Apparently we are the first people to rent Tequila Sunrise since Bob and Karen stopped living in it full time and began offering it up as a rental. We fell very lucky indeed! We spent 2 glorious weeks in this comfortable villa and never felt that we were in a rental-it always felt just like home! Mornings and evenings were spent on that amazing deck watching the light change over the harbour and islands. After snorkeling and hiking everything we could on the island, there was nothing like sitting around the pool with a beverage of choice while we discussed dinner options. Because of the convenience of Lily's Market at the bottom of the hill, most nights we grilled on the upper deck and watched the moonrise. We did eat at Aqua Bistro several times and once at Sweet Plantains (both were great), but our villa was just so well equipped and comfortable we found ourselves wanting to stay in most evenings. The location was also ideal-far enough up the mountain that we felt remote and private, but not so far up than we felt like we were taking our lives in our hands when trying to drive! It goes without saying that the beaches, snorkeling and hiking in St. John are superb, but now knowing we have a place to stay that is equally superb makes future vacation planning very simple! In 2004 we were fortunate to be able to move to St. John on a full time basis. We took Tequila Sunrise out of the rental market and it became our full time home. Career changes took us back to the mainland again last year, so we made the decision to once again make Tequila Sunrise available for rental. We loved living in this house, and made many improvements while we were here. Every piece of furniture in the house was replaced. Appliances got updates. All of the mahogany built in work that you can see in the photographs was added. The road was paved! And the landscaping got an overhaul. The long dormant solar system was overhauled and can be utilized in a power outage. It was very difficult to leave our island home behind, but we are thrilled to make it available to share with you. If you enjoy staying at Tequila Sunrise even half as much as we enjoyed living here, you will have a heavenly vacation. We hope you feel welcome and at home. Sincerely,

What a perfect place for our honeymoon! This was exactly what we wanted: seclusioin, beauty adn a romantic, homey environment to relax in! We loved b-b-qing and sharing bottles of wine by candlelight on the deck. And you can't beat the jungle sounds outside -it's a far cry from the city sounds we're used to! We will definitely be back. Whoever decorated the house had fantastic taste. This was the perfect way to start our life together. Thank you!

A great vacation! A little piece of Paradise in Coral Bay! Island Blues for dinner. Skinny's for beer. Shipwreck for blender drinks. Lucy's for atmosphere. Jolly Dog and Coconut Trading for great T-shirts and souveniers. No need to leave Coral Bay! I'm staying forever!
